If your phone is locked to a carrier, the eSIM may not activate or connect properly.

To check if your iPhone is unlocked:
Open Settings
Tap General
Tap About
Scroll to Carrier Lock
If you see:
No SIM restrictions → Your iPhone is unlocked ✅
Any other message → Your iPhone may be locked ❌

Samsung
Open Settings
Tap Connections
Tap Mobile Networks
Insert another SIM card if available
If the phone accepts another network SIM, it is likely unlocked.
Other Android Devices
You can also:
Contact your carrier
Try another SIM card from a different network
If the new SIM works, your device is unlocked.
